Save the Date: June 27-29 for National Capacity Building for Advanced Biomanufacturing Workforce Summit

BioMADE is pleased to announce our upcoming Biomanufacturing Education and Workforce Development Summit with support from the National Science Foundation. We are hosting a stakeholder event on June 27-29 that focuses on bioindustrial manufacturing.

The overarching goal of this summit is to identify the core workforce competencies, best practices, and strategies that accelerate the capabilities and capacity of our bio-based manufacturing industries. We anticipate that the outcomes will help to guide national workforce efforts that collectively impact job seekers, educators, industry and government stakeholders to build a strong and resilient bioeconomy.

The meeting will be held in San Bruno, CA in partnership with member organizations Skyline College and Solano Community College.

Attendance at this meeting is free, but limited to 200 participants. Travel support for participants, including transportation and lodging, is available based on need and approval by BioMADE Education and Workforce Development staff. Please fill out this form to access the meeting and apply for travel support funds. For more information, contact Louise Petruzzella at lpetruzzella@biomade.org. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 18, and attendees will be notified by May 25.
