BioMADE Participates in Roundtable with Rep. McCollum and Under Secretary Shyu

On National Manufacturing Day, BioMADE CEO Doug Friedman participated in a roundtable discussion with Rep. Betty McCollum (MN-04) and Ms. Heidi Shyu, Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering and the Pentagon’s Chief Technology Officer. The event brought together Minnesota leaders from business, higher education, and national security.

Rep. McCollum and Ms. Shyu discussed the Department of Defense’s investments in scientific research, innovation, and the development of technologies to meet security and economic opportunities, challenges, and threats.
