BioMADE is 100 Members Strong!
Dear BioMADE members and stakeholders,
I am excited to announce that BioMADE is now 100 members strong!
Reaching this milestone less than a year from our launch is a cause for both celebration and gratitude, as our collective success comes from an engaged community.
I am thankful for the opportunity to connect you to the benefits of being part of BioMADE and to collaborate with all of you on developing resources that strengthen our member ecosystem. I want to take a moment to highlight some moments to be proud of from the past 10 months:
BioMADE launched in late April, and many of you helped shape our vision to grow the bioindustrial manufacturing ecosystem through the engagement of diverse partners.
Members built new relationships and teamed up to participate in BioMADE’s project calls. Industry, academia, community colleges and non-profits collaborated on projects for Technology & Innovation and Education & Workforce Development programs.
You came together as a community for the inaugural member business meeting, and member organizations shared their capabilities and goals for engagement on teaming slides.
Members are driving the priorities for the institute through active roles on committees and have helped define opportunities for broader member participation on subcommittees. These focused working groups will launch in the near future, presenting more opportunities for engagement and participation.
You and your peers are shaping the path forward. Members provided valuable input on the development of technical modules and broader industry needs through input sessions on BioMADE’s roadmap and our response to the federal government’s Advanced Manufacturing RFI. You are also leading the way to make sure that our work is safe, secure, sustainable, and socially responsible.
As a member, you are the core of our ecosystem, and we look forward to your continued engagement as we scale-up new opportunities in the year ahead.
Thank you for your commitment to our shared vision to strengthen bioindustrial manufacturing!
