Bay Area Bioscience Education Community
BABEC is a 25-year-old science education non-profit. On a yearly basis, BABEC works with over 120 teachers and 10,000 students, especially in underserved communities. Working in collaboration with BioMADE partners, we aim to broaden the pipeline for the bioindustry workforce by building awareness and hands-on experiences at the 9-12 grade levels. BABEC supplies portable labs, curriculum, and reagents to high schools and colleges.
BioBuilder Educational Foundation
The BioBuilder Educational Foundation is bringing tomorrow’s science into today’s classrooms with new and creative curriculum in life science and engineering.
Delaware Sustainable Chemistry Alliance (DESCA)
DESCA catalyzes and facilitates sustainable innovation to drive a new legacy of ChemTech throughout the region. DESCA’s suite of Innovation 2 Invoice programs focuses on accelerating early-stage innovation by introducing researchers and technologists to business concepts at the earliest stages to align their technology development to commercial goals based on market-driven insight. Simultaneously, DESCA has built an ecosystem of stakeholders, including major strategics, investors, universities, and mentors to drive innovation and collaborative partnerships to accelerate technology commercialization.
