Education and Workforce Development Subcommittee Informational Session

Are you interested in building the bioindustrial manufacturing workforce of the future? Joining a BioMADE Education & Workforce Development (EWD) subcommittee is a great way to get involved. The EWD team will be hosting an informational webinar to introduce the four subcommittees on Wednesday, April 17 at 1:00 PM CT / 11:00 am PT. Participation in subcommittees is open to all BioMADE members at all tiers. Attend this webinar to learn how you can provide critical insight and expertise to the EWD program that will directly translate into actions that impact the entire BioMADE ecosystem! The EWD subcommittees are:  

  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility: Develop and deploy EWD programs that integrate diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) principles.  

  • Curriculum Development: Assess BioMADE’s training materials portfolio and impact, including distance learning, and instructional design. Identify existing and new resources for increasing workforce capacity, including flexible learning strategies.  

  • Industry Workforce Needs Assessment: Identify and assess industry-identified workforce skills and competencies.  

  • Member Professional Development Activities: Develop opportunities for career enhancement and foster educational growth.
