Clem Fortman | Program Director – Technology 

Clem Fortman is a Program Director – Technology for BioMADE. He has previous experience as a staff scientist at the University of California, Berkeley, co-founder and CEO of Lygos, and as a subject matter expert on synthetic biology for the Department of Defense. Clem has Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota and did his postdoctoral work in the department of chemical engineering at UC-Berkeley.
