BioMADE’s Research Associate is responsible for researching and summarizing a wide variety of technical and policy-focused topics pertaining to bio-industrial manufacturing. Primary duties are to engage stakeholders and subject matter experts in industry, academia, and government to collect, synthesize, and present actionable information. Additionally this position will conduct internet, literature and patent research, and synthesize and present results. The position contributes to activities within the Programs team, such as project calls, meetings, and workshops.
Key responsibilities include:
- Using subject matter knowledge, collects and organizes information from stakeholders and subject matter experts into actionable summaries to inform project deliberations.
- Assembles information from a variety of sources on assigned problems. Prepares reports, manuscripts, or presentations summarizing information on the assigned issues and provides context which may impact interpretation of the reports.
- Develops and maintains a network of internal and external sources to enable collection of difficult-to-find information and data on bioindustrial manufacturing.
